Crew Concept
The Crew Innovations theme explains how our
approach works. To understand our Listing Service business,
simply visualize a rowing team:
Boat
– The boat is a well-known Brand; the vehicle
that creates the opportunity for the Listing Service.
It is independent of the rowers yet it supports the
team. Earning a seat on the boat is an exclusive opportunity
for a rower. Each member of the team wants nothing
more than to earn and keep a seat on the boat. Without
the boat the rowers simply cannot participate in the
race.
Rowing
Crew – The Rowers are the Participants
in the private Listing Service. Rowers are usually
small or medium-sized businesses who are willing to
work hard for a place on the team. They want to affiliate
themselves with a winning boat (brand). Participants
must prove themselves as the best candidate for the
team; those who are successful provide the effort
to move the Listing Service forward. No individual
rower, no matter how strong or talented, can propel
the boat for long. It takes the collective effort
of a crew of qualified rowers to help the boat get
off to a good start, gain speed, and maintain momentum
to achieve the goal.
Coach
– The Coach is Crew Innovations staff. We identify
the strengths of the boat (brand), analyze its potential
for a listing service, and outfit it with the tools
needed to be competitive. We recruit and train individual
rowers (participants) and assemble them into a unified
team. We keep the team on track, moving in rhythm,
and keep the boat and its crew headed in the right
direction. We help build the legacy of the Listing
Service and maintain the success of the program. Our
job is to ensure that the Rowing Crew and the Boat
remain competitive to achieve success.
